Kings Lane Farmhouse
Working closely with the construction team and architect, we designed this new farm estate to feel anything but "new." We wanted it to feel as though it had been built over the course of many generations. The estate sits on five acres and encompasses multiple buildings including a guest cottage, pool house and indoor basketball court disguised as an old barn. The dining and breakfast porch, with clapboard walls, rows of windows, and stone floors, were created to feel like wrap-around porches that had been closed in over the years. After construction, we filled the home with antique fixtures, finishes with rich patina, and heirloom quality furniture. The result is a refined yet casual home that supports the active, modern lifestyle of a busy family.
